History: Arlie grew up outside of camp with her father. He married Claire when Arlie was around three years old, and two years later, Luca was born. Arlie was raised in a nice little neighborhood in a sweet little house. Arlie did decently in school. She made friends in school easily and got good grades. As she got older, she made more friends and went to parties and became very social.When she was thirteen, she was walking around with her father when he decided to tell her about her mother. When Arlie found out, she was upset at first and so her father decided it would be best to bring her to the camp to be able to learn about her mother. On the way to their home, they found out that Claire and Luca had gotten into a car crash and Luca had died. Arlie through a fit and blamed Claire for the child's death. Antonio took Arlie to camp to get her away from the stress. Aphrodite claimed her daughter soon after. Arlie spent the past two years hiding as much as she could from the rest of the kids and staying the background.

Physical Appearance: Arlie has long hair that reaches the top of her ribs. It's a dark red color, because she dyed it, and is naturally straight. She usually lets it hang loose or straightens it. She is rather short for her age and she has naturally tanned skin and brown eyes. She used to dress in skirts or dresses but now she wears skinny jeans and lots of black. She ennjoys wearing . She likes wearing her favourite pair of dark colors. She keeps her nails painted black and wears a few rings and black cuffs. She has two or three piercings on her ears.

Personality: Arlie is a pretty social girl though she has her moments where she wants absolutely nothing to do with people and wants to get as far from them as possible. She has a temper that is nearly terrifying. She has a sense of humor that her family doesn't always understand.

Fatal Flaw: Arlie's extreme temper is her most fatal flaw. She is quick to let it out and it destroys her friendships. It also clouds her judgement and it assists in getting her in trouble. It usually comes out a lot when she hasn't slept well or she goes off her medication.

Talents: Arlie can sing and draw. Her voice isn't the most amazing but it is really good, though it could use some work in some places. She enjoys drawing people in her sketch pad and is really good at it.

Weapons: She has two daggers made of celestial bronze.

Other: Arlie suffers from bipolar disorder and insomnia.

Okay. First of all, sorry this has taken a while to get a reply. I think it’s been finals for most of us the past two weeks (and I’ve been gone in general). But ANYWAY.

This is a pretty decent app, I think it just needs some touch-ups here and there. For one, while it’s understandable that probably just about anyone would be mad if their baby brother died, I’d like to see some more in your history about Arlie’s relationship with her brother, as well as her stepmother. We get a bit with a father, she seems pretty cool with him, but there’s not much about the stepmother and brother. As a rule, if they’re mentioned in their family section, they should play some role in your character’s life.

I’m a little confused about Arlie’s personality. You say at the end of her history that she’s been hiding from everyone as much as she could in the two years she’s been at camp, but in her personality you say she’s social (except for the occasion). I would say flesh out the personality a bit more in general, but I can’t think of much else to add. However, for the fatal flaw, you say that it’s her temper—and you have to stand that the fatal flaw is basically their biggest personality trait, and the one most of their reactions, interactions, and decisions are based off of. So does she get mad a lot? And is this whole temper thing the result of her brother suddenly dying amidst other stress, or is it something she’s had her whole life?

Speaking of which, I’m fine with the bipolar disorder and insomnia thing, but it should be recognized that being bipolar means switching between manic and depressed modes. It’s not just “Oh, my personality sometimes flip-flops.” There are neutral modes, but during manic a person feels like they can literally do everything, and depressed is basically opposite. The severity of both obviously depends on how bad the disorder is, and the whole medication thing, but that’s just something to note. Also, were the disorders developed because of the trauma from her brother dying? Because I would mention when she developed them in your history, and now that I think about it, incorporate the bipolar disorder into her personality more, since that one is a personality disorder.

Man, I hope that doesn’t look like an intimidating brick wall. I say it’s a decent app and then I go and write a page…oops.
