History: Katherine Altmann met Hedylogos by bumping into him on the Empire State Building. She had worked as the security guard, so knew about the gods. Hedylogos was attracted to her calm, professional attitude, as many people were charmed or hypnotized by his power-sweet talk or flattery. Therefore, Jade was born. Unlike most demigods, Jade has had a fairly normal life. She's been homeschooled all her life, until her mother decided to tell her that she was a half-blood. Jade stayed in denial until she caved into her mother's pleading at thirteen, and has stayed at Camp Half-Blood ever since. She was surprised to find so many half-bloods in one place, and settled down just fine with her newfound friends, learning what she needed in camp. Though she had practiced slaying monsters with dummies, she's had yet to find a monster that's interested in fighter(or eating)her. She stayed year long in her second year when her mother fell ill and died.  Jade was claimed when she was fourteen.
Physical Appearance: Jade has warm olive skin and dark amber eyes, due to her parentage of a love-related god. Her hair is a dark ebony. You can usually glimpse her wearing a plaid shirt and jeans, and she also loves bracelets. Jade usually wears a light sheen of lip gloss and mascara, but nothing else.
Personality: Jade is artistic and quite modest, but usually cheerful. She expresses her happiness quietly, normally by small smiles and light blushes. Around people, she likes to listen for a bit before making her own opinion-but once you get her started on something she loves, good luck trying to get her to be quiet-logic doesn't exist in her world any more. She can't hold grudges very long-she forgets why she dislikes a person overnight.
Fatal Flaw: Jade is too dependent. She relies on people too much, and doesn't try to help her powers grow. She doesn't do it on purpose, but it's a part of her. Once someone from her life disappears, she can become a total wreck-like she did when her mother died.
Talents: Jade's exceptional at playing  piano, and she-due to her relation of a god similar to the smaller aspects of Aphrodite-is very good at flirting, not that she does it on purpose, usually trying instead to supress her powers. When she doesn't though, her voice changes to a sweeter tone, and her movements become more graceful, but no other powers manifest. If she puts a genuine efffort into doing it, she can enhance her beauty in her natural powers, using her charm to slip past or blind an opponent, but it drains her power by a large amount, rendering her unable to use it until the next day. This power makes her voice similar to charmspeak, but instead of making people obey you, it makes them hypnotized and therefore fall into a trance as she flatters them. It also,unlike charmspeak, cannot be used twice a day and with little energy.She also loves people-watching and making up love stories about them.
Weapons: Jade uses a light Celestial Bronze sword, and is fairly decent with a bow, though not spectacular.
Other: You can usually glimpse Jade in the armory, making small trinkets to place in her cabin.

hmm well then I guess I'll make some comments here.
You're history is a bit too brief, while i understand being a minor demigod would mean that you probably hadn't seen many monsters you also mention that the mother knew she was a demigod. so maybe add how her mother met Hedylogos. Also add some of their time at camp.
Also can you elaborate on what her powers are?

It was amazing but you need to explain the illness that her mother got and what her powers are. I'm no professional but I do my story characters like this and the story turns at really well. I am really gland I join this site.

Hey look at me, finally looking at this app.
Sorry it's been however long. This app didn't even take me long to read. *oops*
Anywho, good app, nice to have someone with a fairly normal background for once that isn't ridden with drama... (which I really shouldn't be able to say considering my own character's past, but still...).
My only suggestion would be to describe a bit more Jade's reaction to her mother dying and how it affected her. You mention it a tad, but since it seems it would be a pretty big event, I think it should be expanded upon a bit more. Other than that, so long as you stay true to not using your power much, everything looks great, and you'll be approved once you fix that bit.
