I was sooo tired. I wouldn't be shadow traveling anywhere soon. I was drained. "Alex?" i said again. "are you okay?"

"oh my gods! Cameron that was you at the strawberry fields. You were the child of Zeus i sensed!" "Wow that chest wound looks bad" i say gravely. "Alex! i say quickly "Help this fool quickly his life aura is fading!"

I look at the wound, knowing it is bad. I put two fingers on the wound and muutter a greek prayer to Apollo. It fades away. I collapse on Nick's shouler, tired and drained of power. I smile at him, looking in his eyes. "Yeah. I'm fine. That was awesome."

nick alex im sorry im very emotional and any emotion can take me over and cause destruction to anything in my path i didnt mean to hurt you if i did

I look at a cut on my arm thats just fading away. "Beside that," I nod towards the cut, "I'm fine."

i hold Alex close. "our powers drain us" i noted not very helpfully but for a lack of something better. Cameron unnerved me. doubly so after his Lighting fit. i tried hard to stay conscious that fool son of Zeus was going to answer some questions. he nearly killed us and himself and Alex had just had to save the poor kid from the brinks of death. you know what ive always had anger issues and with me my anger ties to my other issues and when i have an emotion strong enough i go crazy like that and if you dont accept my apology than fine im leaving

My hand incheed towards Nick's and I grasped it. I could feel my strength returning. The amphitheater was in direct sunlight, and I get stronger that way. I closed my eyes, embracing the warmth of Nick and the sun combined.

I laugh at Nicks comment about the tidal wave of despair.

We usually have more godly powers than other demigods because of the power of our fathers." "We can be great heroes of the age or succumb to power usually only reserved for a god."
