The Quester's semi-triuphant return!

Jake munched on ambrosia, wishing it would work faster. His wounds still hurt and now that it had been a couple hours he was feeling sore all over. He prayed to every god he could think of that Ty wouldn't find the urge to pounce on him today. He could just imagine the bone-shifting pain. He was looking forward to a quick, peaceful recovery back at camp so then he could finish his projects.
He looked out the window at the passing scenery.



(Alright guys, i've decided we're going to play it by ear and roleplay a little bit on the trip back then see where the battle's gotten at camp. Hopefully they'll be near the end.)

Alex goes into the Big House, looking around. Her gaze rests on a camper lying on a cot. "Hey," she says, "Are you okay?"

(um... sorry to break it to you, but I'm still in the truck as of now. But don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to be concerned later because no matter what Jake hopes, those wounds won't be healing fast.)

"Yes, were are almost back to camp!" His breath fogged the window. "Drive faster." He demanded.

"The limit is 20 on these backwoods roads, the fastest you'll get is 21!" Soon, we had arrived at camp. "All right, we're here."

"Great. Its about time.." Jake shoved open the door and started to get up. Immediatly he ploped back down, his chest and back screaming in protest. He let an irritated sigh out his teeth. "It looks like I can't get up yet..."

Erik hopped out of the truck. "At long last, we have returned!" He looked around, no one was there, except for a few kids lighting cabins on fire. Erik looked a little closer. "Hey, Jake, someones setting cabins on fire." He pointed down. He was hardly surprised, he had set the bathrooms on fire before they left, but the cabins are a little more important.

Alex runs up from the woods to the three boys, nervous. "Guys, the Titan camp has sent a couple demigod spies over and now theyre terrorizing the camp!" She looks around nervously. She runs off calling back, "Help!"

"WHAT!?!" Jake shouted, forgetting about his injuries. He immediatly jumped out of the truck, nearly collasping as soon as he hit the ground. He grunted in pain and leaned against the truck door. "Hurry- We..." Jake winced as his heavy breathing aggrivated his broken and bruised rips. He tried again, forcing himself to breathe more evenly. "We need to go help."

"From who? I'm pretty sure everyone is already fighting." He helped up Jake. "I'm going to go and try to stop some of the cabin burning, you stay here and heal." He ran off before Jake could disagree.

"Darn it Erik!" Jake shouted after him. "I said *we* not you!" He stood there for a second then he let himself slide to the ground. It wasn't like he could do much anyway. Or was there?

"So what do we do? We got to get you to safety."

(There's your shovel, start digging your way into the fight.)

"Help me up." Jake told Link, coming up with an idea. "Then get me the launcher from the back of the truck." He gave a loud whistle. It didn't matter where Ty was- he'd hear it and come running in three, two, one....
"ArOOf!" Ty barked happily.And since Jake was too close to the truck, he couldn't be pounced.
"hey boy, you alright?"
