The Quest to Florida (Fred)

'I swear I just saw...' His voice trailed off before he shook his head, 'No its nothing.' Dominic said with a shrug before gesturing to Fred to lead the way, 'Come on. Lets go get your ride.'
The two of them walked through the streets and eventually arrived at the car park. They climbed the stairs and eventually got to the floor in which Fred's ride stood upon.
'When we get you're ride we'll hit a drive thru.' Dominic said, 'When we get there you're meals on me. Its the least I can do.' He spoke as they walked across the tarmac.

" aye well keep yer eyes oot we demigods huve bad luck when it comes tae normal stuff." Fred pointed out she had noticed her ascent was getting stronger. a singe she was enjoying her self.

" awesome aint he?"

Dominic's jaw dropped when he saw it. He had no experience with cars, but from first glance he could tell that what stood before him was something special.
'How on earth did you get your hands on that?' Dominic asked as they approached the car.

" umm i bought it?" Fred answered. " i did a wee bit of picking wasn't that hard caused me aboot $1000. yeh see i did a wee bit if instructing. nothing much Talhopher sword style.
made a few bob.
saw this beauty and had to have it." she admitted.
" it took me a month or two to get to the camp. had to get to Canada first." Fred admitted. the trail of destruction she had left getting to the camp was almost a mile wide figurative. the trip had cost her her eye and most of her face. even a fare chunk of her sanity. but if she was insane she shouldn't worry about that.
but something else worried her?
" you said your parents were attacked buy a Cyclops?" she asked. something was wrong with that Alexis's dad was killed buy one to. but typically Cyclops were good guys children of Poseidon.

'Thats right. Big ugly guy attacked me and my family at the hotel we were staying in.' Dominic explained, 'Thing broke my leg and almost chomped on my head.' He grunted before dropping his luggage and his guitar into the back of her car.
He noticed the troubled expression on the good half of her face, 'Something wrong?'

" its just in mah experience ive only met three evil Cyclops. ma gasket and her wanes. nicked ma car so they did." she explained.
" any way. ware we off to?"

'The one that tried to kill me said he had some grudge with my dad. Said it was some ancient revenge. I don't know, never really paid attention in history class.' Dominic said with a shrug before sliding into the front passanger seat. He opened his map and looked over it, searching for the nearest drive thru.
'Theres a burger joint round the corner. Not sure if they do what you're looking for but maybe they'll have something.' Dominic offered.

" fare enough. ah um starved." Fred said as she got into the drivers seat and folding down the roof. the rusty WW2 monster came to life.

They drove out the car park and made a turn down the street. It was still late at night, probably approaching midnight. Dominic wondered if anybody had noticed that they were gone. He hoped not, he didn't want to get an unplanned visit from anyone at camp.
'Fred?' Dominic asked, 'Can I ask you something?' He spoke, glancing towards her as they drove. A normal person would worry about a one eyed girl being the driver, but Dominic didn't worry.

" Dom, im an open book. well a Dr Seuss book but a book any way. whit is it?" she answered.

'How did you lose your eye?' Dominic asked. He was surprised that he didn't feel bad for prying. He supposed it was because he knew Fred wouldn't care. He liked that.

" i told yeh about they kittens didn't ah?.... honestly it was a monster called Empusa. she was killing mortals... ah cane let that happen nay way." Fred looked blankly at the street ahead

'So you lost it in a fight with Empusa?' He asked trying not to feel bad for her.

" lost? LOST? mate im Scottish and a descendent of Yamamoto Tsunetomo i didny lose. that donkey legged smeg is well dead." she answers smiling

'I don't doubt that.' Dominic replied with a grin, 'But you walked away from that fight without you're eye. Doesn't that get to you?'

" id give any thing ta save some one. ma eyes nothing. sides it winds up Enyo. she thinks im imperfect noo." Fred said with a smile
"och lets get something ta eat an find yer brother." she said

'Yeah.' Dominic agreedd, but as they kept driving he felt he couldn't stop himself from saying something lame, 'Fred. You're really cool.' He said, looking out to the streets to avoid looking at Fred and feeling embarassed, 'I mean...saving people...coming with me on this nuts little adventure...its...its really...' His cheeks were burning but he managed to ignore it, 'Just...thanks. I owe you.'

"yeah well that's a rumour i spread aroon. but the images Enyo puts into ma heed.... ive got to make sure that disne happen. an ahm maw letting yeh get yer self killed way oot me. sides ahm full off useless info ahm willing to impart." she joked

'Fred. I'm serious. I owe you.' Dominic spoke firmly, 'Nobodys looked out for me before. Its appreciated.'

Fred just smiled "tell yeh whit get me something tae eat and were even. i diny do things fer a reward." she replied. " see if thay sell irn_bru."

He nodded but knew that paying for her meal would never be enough. The car pulled up to a drive thru restaurant; a large building with an empty car park and a huge glowing burger fixed on it roof. The word; 'Burger House' were written on the side of it.
'You wait here I'll go see if they have Ian Bru.' Dominic said as the car pulled to a stop. Dominic hopped out of the car and hurried up to the restaurant, pausing before the intercom to the drive thru and pressing the button.
'Hello welcome to Burger House can I take your order?' A womans voice crackled on the other side.
'Yeah, sorry I'm not in a car, I was just wondering if you did Ian Bru?' He asked. For a moment there was no response. Then the voice crackled again?
'Sure. Come on in. We do Ian Bru.' The womans voice crackled and Dominic's face lit up.
'Great I'll come on in.' He said before hurrying inside. He pushed open the double doors eagerly, his appetite getting the better of him. He couldn't wait to munch on a double cheese burger with bacon.
It was a shame that as soon as he opened the doors all he was greeted with were several pairs of muscular arms.
'Oh hell...' Dominic cursed as the hands grabbed him and hauled him inside.

((I know I am kinda late seeing this, did you guys get approved for a quest? Cause I have it understood that no quests are to be given out right now))

(Its not an official quest, quest for Florida is just the title I chose. Its just a small adventure, nothing big)

we thought it would be like Percy & Clarisse and the stolen chariot. i'le Waite to see if Dom and Fred excellent adventure is allowed first before posting.
