Breaking the Know-It-All (Alexis)

Dominic's plan to make Alexis have fun was quite simple; go to the Canoe Lake, find something fun to do and then have fun. The trouble was that when Dominic reached the Canoe Lake he realised something; his fan base had returned.
'Dominic! Come on in! Play us a song!' The water nymphs, pretty girls in shimmering green shirts and jeans, squealed as they reached the edge of the lake.
'Uh...maybe we should have gone to the volley ball court.' Dominic muttered, his cheeks glowing red.

Alexis sighed."Just pick somewhere. Being carried around doesn't feel good."Alexis said.

'Oh yeah. Sorry.' He said before setting her down on the ground. He looked over the lake water and searched for something to do. His eyes landed on an empy caanoe resting against the pier, 'I've got a idea.' He said with a grin.

Alexis sighed and looked around before looking at him,"What?"Alexis asks.

'Canoe war' He said with a smile before rushing over to the canoe and tugging it to shore. He slipped into the seat before motioning for Alexis to join him.

"Canoe war? What?"She muttered before walking over and getting into the canoe.

'I'll explain the rules.' Dominic said as he untied the canoe and pushed the boat away from the pier, 'first we stand up.' He said and slowly got to his feet.

"No no no and no... "Alexis said and crossed her arms stubbornly.

'Ok...' Dominic voice trailed off mischeviously before he began to rock the canoe violently from side to side. Grinning like a mad man.

Alexis pushed him into the water,"That's better."Alexis said and smiled and giggled innocently.

Dominic spluttered as he splashed about in the water. He managed to grab the side of the canoe.
'That wasn't nice.' Dominic muttered, spitting a stream of water at her. He turned his head as three Naids came up behind him.
'Dominic leave the wise girl and come play with us!' They whined.
'Not now ladies I'm plotting revenge.' Dominic growled before tugging the side of the boat in an attempt to turn it over.

Alexis looked at him,"Dominic."Alexis warned and raised an eyebrow.

'Sorry hun. These are the rules of canoe war.' Dominic spoke before laughing madly as he tipped the boat over, throwing Alexis into the water.

Alexis laughed and landed into the water but then came up to the surface.

'Having fun yet?' Dominic asked as he bobbed on the surface.

Alexis smiled and nodded,"As long as the naiads and nymphs keep to themselves . . . I'll be nice."Alexis said.

'Good, because that was round one of canoe war.' Dominic said with a devilish grin on his face. He grabbed the side of the canoe and with difficulty managed to hoist himself into it. He turned to Alexis and held out his hand to help her in, but shot a warning look at her in case she got any ideas.

Alexis took his hand."I won't do anything."Alexis said. Alexis smiled a little.

With a nod he lifted her into the canoe and sat down.
'Really should have brought a towel.' Dominic cursed before grinning at her, 'Ready for round two?'

Alexis looked at him and smiled."What's round two? and how long is this?"Alexis asked.

'Same rules but this time we place a bet.' Dominic said and flashed her a mischevious grin, 'First one to go in the water loses, and if I win then...' He scratched his head for a moment as he thought about what he wanted from her, '...if I win then you have to make a promise.'

"And what promise is it?"Alexis asked and looked at him in the eyes.

Dominic immediately shook his head.
'Uh-uh. Can't tell you that otherwise you may not agree.' He said, 'You're either in or out. Its that simple. Now why don't you tell me what you want if you win?'

Alexis shrugged,"I'll do it but later I'll tell you what I decide if I win."Alexis said.

'I'm quivering in suspense.' Dominic said. He held up three fingers and counted down before lunging forwards and tickling her, determined to catch her off guard.
