New Joined Arrival of Jathan and Axel.

((I heard something about Cat from Ceru.... So I don't know.... Here is where I started my arrival thread.))

Jathan heard the door open once more. He and the girl looked to see who it was.

Axel opened the door, leaving the girl he had been talking to behind after deciding she wasnt a threat. when he opened the door of the large farmhouse he saw two people, a boy and a girl. talking. the boy was a little shorter than Axel, with blonde dreadlocks. So, this is a summer camp. Axel thought. why did Clove tell me that i should go here? Axel wondered beginning to doubt his deceased friend.

Jathan looked up and saw a a guy a bit bigger than him, with short, spiky, hair and a good scar on his face. The kid looked a bit confused. "Are you a demigod too?" Jathan asked. Maybe this guy could shed some light on the subject of gods and monsters and half-bloods.

[Lawl let's just pretend I wrote this before you posted, Axel.]

 Cat was suddenly very glad she had kept a little distance between her and the boy, when he put a hand on the knife she had failed to notice before. Oh boy. She casually took a step back, then met the boy's wary gaze. A scar ran down the side of his face.
 She raised an eyebrow at his question. She had assumed he was already a camper here, but apparently not. "Yes," she said slowly. "This is Camp Half-Blood."

 The boy dismissed her then, turning away and going into the Big House. She frowned. She was glad he had decided she was, for the most part, friendly, but she wasn't so pleased about him just turning away and dismissing her. She stood in her place for a moment, then set her jaw stubbornly and followed him.
 She saw Syl sitting inside with a unfamiliar blond guy, and waited for the daughter of Hephaestus to notice her before she waved to or greeted her.

"What is going on? Is this like a hippie convention or something? I'm not a product of some pagan deity and neither are you." Jathan tells the girl. He then turned to the other girl who just walked in. "You're not crazy also, are you?"

"explain to me one thing" Axel said calmly, "What is a demigod?" Axel asked, all the while reaching for his knife in case things got violent, Axel had heard the boy mention something about pagan gods. he then heard someone approaching from behind him, he turned around and saw the girl he had been talking to before. he turned back to the blond boy, then noticed that the boy was staring, Axel remembered the scar on his eye, which obviously must have been noticed by the boy.

Syl looked at the other guy. New demigod, too. And Jathan still wasn't convinced.
"Hey, Cat." She greeted, sort of ignoring the other guy.

Cat blinked at the blond kid. "As far as I know, I'm completely sane," she said dryly. She looked back at Syl. "Hi," she said, allowing some degree of warmth and friendliness into her tone. She glanced at the blond boy again. "I'm assuming Syl just told you what this camp's about," she said, taking on the dry tone again.
The black-haired boy was reaching for his knife again, so Cat stayed aware of him from the corner of her eye, although she was sure he'd only use it if he felt as if he was in danger. Hopefully that wouldn't happen.

Axel, figured he had only one chance to get the answers he needed, he moved his hand away from his knife. somehow he knew that he had been sent to this place for a reason and he had a feeling that it had something to do with this "demigod" thing. he sighed, he was sure that if these people were monsters he could beat them. "so how about someone fill me in on what is going on, and what a demigod is." Axel said.

((Quite bored mind if I join?))

"Well..." Cat spoke up. "Demi means half, and god... well, you know. So that means a demigod is half god: one of a demigod's parents is a god or goddess. In this case, we're talking Greek." She found it much simpler explaining it as a word and its definition, not connecting it to herself. Even if it was connected to her, she was going to ignore that fact while speaking of it, as it only made her feel weird.

"why is he asking me if im a demigod? arent those only in myths like hercules" but even as Axel said that they were myths he got the feeling that he could be wrong. After all he had seen it would make sense that they came from greek mythology. but still what did it have to do with him? Axel wondered, maybe the greek gods did exist. "what does that have to do with me anyway." Axel said, at the same time Axel had secretely swiped a Ipod Nano from the girl's pocket. she didnt notice, he had a lot of practice picking pockets.

Jathan saw the new dude pocket something. "Hey..." He decided that he wasn't sure of what he saw, and besides, the guy looked dangerous. "Well, I did see a green lady. Now that I think about it she might have had only one leg, or worse, one tail. Isn't that like a dracanae or something? And can anyone prove that demigods exist? Cause I'm a little doubtful."

Suddenly Axel was stunned. a green lady? the memory of the demon dog that attacked him, this was all connected to geek myths. So maybe that demon dog was a hellhound. Axel thought. "still what does any of this have to do with us?"

Andrew had left his sword Waymaker in Chiron's office. About an hour before he decided he wanted to do a dead man's sprint for a mile. As if that wasn't already impossible he also decided to add his armor in. Anyways, he accidentally left it in Chiron's office after leaving in a discussion, with the centaur, to go puke. He was then carted away to the infirmary because he was dehydrated. Great way to start off the week.

He walked into the main building and towards Chiron's office. Sadly, the door was locked but to the left was his sword. Hearing a discussion about demigods he walked towards it knowing that it was newcomers just by their unfamiliar voices. He also saw another person he didnt know very well but thankfully Syl was here.

Sheathing his sword he answered Jathan "How many green ladies with tails don you see every day?" He held out his hand to both of them to shake "My names Andrew son of Harmonia. The answer to your question is quite simple. Because you are one of us." He waited for them to take this into consideration and sound their opinions on it. "No normal person can even walk into this camp, only demigods the children of the gods and a few selected beings. Such as the gods and some friendly monsters."

He looked at Cat "I don't believe we've met before actually. So nice to meet you." He smiled and nodded to show he was friendly.

[Actually, Cat probably would've noticed Axel take her iPod Nano, considering she's quite alert and was already keeping an eye on him, not to mention it was her front pocket... But whatever.]

Cat recognized Andrew from the tour he had given her the day before, with Syl and Conrad. Of course he didn't recognize her though; not many people did pay enough attention to her to remember. She forced a smile.
"I came in yesterday. My name's Cat." Daughter of Apollo, but that's not that important.

Axel was stunned by Andrews answer to his question. but even though it seemed impossible Axel believed it. it was the only thing that made sense, Axel was sure that Andrew was serious. "my name is Axel" he said as he shook the boy's hand. Axel then turned to the girl from before. "So, then i guess i should return this, not my type of music anyway." Axel said this as he handed the girl her Ipod.

Cat recognized the metallic red square in Axel's hand instantly, and she grabbed it, resisting the urge to throttle him. No one messed with her music. Especially not some random kid (she didn't care if he was taller and probably older, she was going to call him a kid) who just walked into the place five seconds ago. Consider yourself lucky, Axel, she growled in her mind, that I've decided to be merciful, or else you'd be so dead right now.
 With a visibly forced calm, she asked, "How did you get that?"

"well u see..." Axel stopped as a strange holographic image appeared over his head, the image was a winged staff with two snakes wrapped around it. Axel stood starring at the symbol above his head wondering what it meant.

Cat's anger and annoyance dissipated from surprise. "A caduceus," she blurted. It registered in her mind, what was going on. She dropped her gaze from the symbol to Axel's face, green eyes slightly wide. "You're being claimed by Hermes."
She could've laughed then, but she didn't. That explained how he took her iPod right from her pocket. She shoved her hand into her pocket and kept it there, ever more wary of the child of the thief god. And she'd have to be sure to keep an eye out for the other children of Hermes; suddenly Cat was thankful that it was a custom around here to state the name of your godly parent when introducing oneself. It definitely gave her a general idea of what to expect.

"Okay. What is that?! Why is it floating over his head?! Who are you people?!" Jathan freaked out. He gripped the arm of the couch too hard, and the cracking of wood filled the air. ((What's the sign for Bia?)) A flashing illusion appeared over his head. It looked like a hammer inlaid in an rock-slide.

Zach was simply going for a walk. Hearing yelling from the Big House, he went to investigate. Entering the room he saw Andrew, Syl, a girl he thought he knew, Kate? No, Cat. and two guys he'd never seen. Both had glowing symbols over their heads. The one with blonde dreadlocks apperared to be tearing the arm of he couch off. Wow, he's strong. The other kid with spiky black hair seemed pretty calm. Sons of Hermes and... Bia?

"Umm. What's going on? Hey Andrew, Syl, and Cat. New campers? I don't think we have any other Bia kids."

"Bia? Is she the goddess of strength or something?" Jathan let go of the couch. A piece of wood clattered against the hardwood floor.

"Yep. I can show you your new cabin later." Zach answered, smiling.
