Ultimate Swordsman Challenge: Kris (Take 2) Empty Ultimate Swordsman Challenge: Kris (Take 2)

Jake drummed his fingers on his lap, impatiently waiting for Kris to come. Agamemnon sat much more patiently in the middle of the arena.

It was time for the second shot at Kris's challenge, since the first had ended prematurely. Actually, he didn't know what to count that as. Technically, Kris didn't lose... but he didn't count freaking the automation with a bit of water as a win either. Seriously, who could expect that? And he still hadn't gotten around to proper aquatic testing yet.

Anyway, it was time to see more forms performance. He could also count it as a combat diagnostic. It was great having an experienced swordsman you can just test giant fighting robots with.

Kris casually strolled into the arena. She had a beach towel around her neck and her hair was soaked. Having just come from a swim, she wasn't exactly ready for round two of the challenge. Thankfully she was comfortable fighting in a swimsuit.

"Sorry I'm late. I guess I spent too much time in the deep than I thought. I hope fighting in a swim suit is okay." She smiled at her friend knowing he wouldn't care. She threw her towel off to the side and walked over to Agamemnon. "Hey buddy, I hope you are ready for this." She rubbed the automation's nose and placed a kiss on the metal. "Do good work sweetie," she whispered. She turned back to Jake. "So, what are we waiting for?" Kris activated her sword and propped it up on her shoulder.

Jake grinned and shrugged. Agamemnon gave a few happy clicks, no doubt more than ready for a good brawl.

"Whatever floats your boat." He said with a laugh. So swimsuits weren't exactly protective gear. But, if Kris was okay with it, fine. Besides, Agamemnon shouldn't actually hurt her, and Kris would heal with a bit of water.

"You know the rules: 13 forms, no breaks, fight normal..." Jake's look got a bit more stern. "And don't hose him again." Agamemnon rumbled in agreement, then stood up. It gave itself a firm shake.

"Ready?" Jake took the usual breath. "Program 15-992: Begin!"

Agamemnon dipped down then transformed. This time, it started off with a rather unimpressive harpy. It gave a fierce cry then charged quickly and fiercely.

Kris smirked at the memory of scaring Agamemnon with a little bit of water. But she didn't let the thought distract her. She caught the automation beginning his transformation out of the corner of her eye and quickly backed away to gain some distance. Seeing the harpy only made her sigh. Starting off simple, perfect, she thought.

Seeing Aggie charge, Kris waited until the very last moment and side stepped to the left. Just as quickly, she grabbed her sword with her right hand and spun to the right, slicing through her opponent. She quickly moved away, keeping an eye on Aggie. "Come one sweetie, I need something with a little challenge."

Jake leaned back. Technically, he was supposed to supervise in case of serious injury or other mishap. But with Kris and Agamemnon on the field, it was more just watching the show.

Agamemnon tumbled to the ground. The customary fifteen seconds ticked by, and the bronze pieces reformed into a massive chimera. It rose and gave a mighty roar, shaking the last pieces into place and sending fire flickering in all directions. It crouched low, tense and ready to continue the battle.

Kris watched as Aggie changed. Easy, she thought. As long as she didn't lose her sword like the first time they fought, she would be good.

Watching her opponent get serious, she couldn't help but smile. But, the smile quickly faded. She took no time at all to rest. She hadn't broken a sweat yet and was ready for more. She got low and pushed off the ground into a sprint. Her sword swung out to the side, ready to defend her awkward barely clothed body. She had no worries about the fight, only about her top coming undone.

Agamemnon snarled and stalked forward, crouched low. The snake tail waved back and forth anxiously.

Then, it suddenly lunged forward, throwing a horizontal swipe with its claws at Kris.
