Practice against the dummy.

Blake walks into the arena with his dagger. He then pulls out the dummie he's going use. Next, he pulls out his dagger and attacks its arms. He decided not to use his daggers fire ability, thinking it would be a waste of time. Then, he thrust it towards the chest. He then runs towards it, turning the dagger upside down, and cuts the right arm completely off. Next, he throws it at the head for practice if the enemy is far away. The dagger hits the neck, slicing the head off and stabs into the wall. Tired, Blake gets the dagger and puts it in it's sheathe walks out of the arena.

Linley looked at all the armor and weapons on the wall, and finally chose a silver blade with intricate blue symbols on the handle, as the grip felt perfect in her hand. She nervously walked over to a dummy, and slashed, cutting a sharp but not too deep gash in its arm. Excited, she continued, until all that was left was some straw and shreds of clothing. OOPS, she thought, GOT OVER-EXCITED.

She decided she liked this one. MAYBE I COULD GET A REPLICA, she thought, hanging the knife back on the wall and running to the forgery.
