Claiming of the new camper( dead and canceled)

As Jace left the mess hall following the rest of the Hermes cabin, he was felling kinda tired, but warm even tough it was cold, snow falling the camp, but not inside. He was wearing his usual clothing but had his haired put into a Ponytail. He was told that today he would be claimed,  up that didn't seem to happen. He was disappointed, he learns he was a demigod and is the only one not claimed. Go figure. As he sat down with the rest of the campers he would start to hear the Apollo cabin sing and play music. They where quite good, which made sense since they where the sons and daughters of the god of song and poetry.

(*Facepam* you do realize hermes is the god of thieves, merchants, and travelers. Apollo is the god of music and poetry, also campers arent told when they will be claimed, its a random event. not a scheduled one.)

(I do know, but the Hermes cabin takes in all unclaimed campers, and then he was told since it's his birthday, 16th birthday, the day that all demigods need to be claimed at, not matter what, via the deal with Percy.)

(By the *13th birthday, technically. It should have already happened, but may be delayed because the gods are fickle jerks.)
