History: Astana grew up in a comfortable middle class family. She is amused by her eccentric father but she isn't too close to him because he doesn't spend a lot of time with her. Her stepmom tries a little too hard to be understanding of her "special" daughter and is very bubbly, but usually Astana finds it irritating. She always felt different, even a little superior, compared to other kids her age, but didn’t notice anything too extraordinary until she was eight.  She and her brother were playing in the woods and JJ thought he saw movement in the trees and ran off foolishly.  She followed him to keep him safe, a little ways behind him. Suddenly, she heard him cry out. He was being attacked by a large two headed antlike monster. She had her dagger Quill with her so she fought back while her brother ran. At last, she had a clear shot and stabbed it in one mouth and it disappeared in a flash of golden powder. From then on strange things seemed to keep happening.  She got to camp totally by accident. She was visiting her grandparents in Connecticut. They had gone to a beach club in East Haven on Long Island Sound and Astana was relaxing on a raft a little way out into the water. The raft was connected to the bottom by an anchor chain. The chain snapped and the lurch knocked her off the raft. She passed out and woke up at camp. Her family and friends believe she is dead.  Astana later found out that it was a GIANT crab that had snapped the chain.   Mermen had driven off the crab and sea nymphs were the ones who carried her to safety.  

Physical Appearance: Four feet ten inches. Her hair is shoulder-length and black. Her skin is pale and she has stormy gray eyes. She never wear dresses or excessive jewelry like other silly girls.
 
Personality: Astana tends to keep to herself and never gets too emotional.  She is very stubborn and hates it when she is wrong (of course she believes she is hardly ever wrong) or loses a fight.   Other people seem irritatingly dense so she tends to avoid them.  Except she is fond of her "idiot" little brother.  But Astana is very honest and honorable and always keeps a promise.

Fatal Flaw: Self-reliance and superiority.   This stems from her difficulty connecting emotionally with others (putting herself in their shoes) coupled with her excellence at math, engineering, and sports. So she doesn't have patience when others are slow or wrong. As a result she is a loner and doesn't like being part of a team.   This could lead to her dying because she could be isolated when danger strikes, or she may become determined to solve problems that aren't her business on her own (like other people's quests).

Talents: Astana is super mathematical. She is good at sports like softball with thrown projectiles because she can calculate trajectories instinctively. She also rocks at estimating things like how many candy corns are in the jar.  As a hobby she enjoys making plastic model cars and airplanes with moving engine parts. She has a collection of over 500 cars and 400 airplanes at home.  

Weapons: When her mortal family was driving on Seneca Turnpike, an owl hit the windshield.  Astana took it home and nursed it back to health, to see if she could do it. When she released it, it left a feather behind. When Astana picked up the feather, it turned into a bronze dagger.  She has had "Quill" ever since.
When anyone tries to use Quill without her permission, it turns into a harmless owl feather.  

Other: Astana is named after the capital of Kazakhstan. Her dad is a geographical nut and mapmaking artist/genius which is why Athena was attracted to him.  She is afraid of spiders.

Well, I see someone already gave you tips about what to fix on here. I'm going to bet a million...drachmas...that it was Ax (Pfft. I'm too cheap to bet real money).

In any case, this looks like a very well-rounded app. All I would say is put some more detail in the Fatal Flaw, like more how this would result in her possibly dying/reacting to certain situations. And then secondly, I'd like a bit more information/detail in the History, mainly just about your character's relationship with her parents and sort of why she is the way she is (i.e. why she thinks she's better than people).

Other than that, it looks good.
