Sketching?(Definitely Open) Empty Sketching?(Definitely Open)

Lily sat on one of the stools, her sketchbook open and a pencil poised in a hand. Her eyes were closed, but her hand moved quite quickly, slowly taking on the shape of a woman. Pausing, she opened her blue eyes and stared at it. The woman had curling, black tresses and wore a dress that she probably wouldn't have been able to recreate, even if her eyes were open. The daughter of Posiedon quickly erased some of the loose lines and focused on sketching again. Dark black hair and a fancy dress. Pointed, frail features. She wondered about who it was. Perhaps a character from a book she had read some time ago.

Alex walked into the pavilion. She loved it there, something about the atmosphere being very free and accepting of artistic creativity. She noticed a girl sitting in the room with a sketch pad. Alex pulled out her sketch pad and her markers and pencils, she was sketching out another graff' design. Using her red and gold pens to add fire around her words, "Daughter of Hermes Conquers Flames" with a girl approximately her size swinging down double blades into the heart of an exploding Phoenix. Alex had taken off her jacket and swung it around the back of her chair leaving her bare arms exposed. Her scars from the fire that had burned down her home years before still covered her arms. They gave her the inspiration for the fire sketch.
Alex rocked back in her chair and studied the girl across the table. She was a beautiful, smaller girl. And there was this kind of cool feeling that surrounded her. Not exactly cold, but more the feeling when you're beside the ocean and the air has that hint of coolness from the water.
Seeing the girl gave Alex a new idea for a piece of art. She grabbed the blue and silver pencils and markers, she drew a picture of the girl surrounded by bubbling water with silver currents running through it, protecting her from fire that exploded from the edges of the page toward the water, but the water surrounded bits of fire extinguishing it. The girl's expression was the hardest part, Alex didn't know how she was going to do it. She looked back up at the girl, who was studying her own piece of work.
Alex cleared her throat.
