de-stressing buy hunting

Fred had made plans to meet her new friend in the woods.
her dad had always said that sometimes a good workout took was better than a shrink. hopefully she would get one.

Fred turned to greet her " aye up. ah never asked whit are yeh good at?" she asked not trying to be rude.

"am naw trying ta be rude its just i don't know wits aroond here."
she said she wasn't trying to be rude." is it comes doon ta it let me dae the mental stuff."

[color=white] Ok I'm going to look around, Alexis said as she started to walked around the forest.

" aye lets go hunt some wabits " she said trying to impersonate Elmer Fud.

Alexis smiled a little and walked down the forest. Looking around like a detective.

Fred switched off her senses. it was hard to describe it was as if she switched to her missing eye to see. she watched Alexis move away. " keep in voice range hen." she whispered.
it wasn't long before they found pray. a Manticore.
the beast was hunting them. its venomous fangs bared and its poisoned cubed tail poised ready to strike.

Fred's claymore game to hand.
what had she done? she had put Alexis in danger totally unacceptable.
she couldn't allow this. no never.
the 6ft blade found the Manticore's lion's head and wedged in to its sharks teeth. but still the beasts tail was a danger.
Manticores were one of the most dangerous beasts in the mythological world. its lions body was big powerful and heavy.
it easily overpowered Fred. she fell backwards over a root and was pined under it's paws. but she still held on to her sword as long as she kept it wedged in to the beasts mouth Alexis was safe.
" Alic any time yeh fancy killing this thing." she joked.

The monster didn't seem down yet. It got back up swing and swung Alexis against the tree hitting her waist.

Fred's claymore was still in the beasts mouth. at least that kept it from chomping down.
but thankfully it was not pinning Fred on to the ground.
but now she was not armed. she had put Alexis in danger. not cool.
enyos voice told her to let the kid die it was the way of all flesh. Fred shrugged it off. she hated the voice.
the Manticore's attention was on Alexis now. Fred jumped on to its back.

Stay awake Athena said whistling in Alexis thoughts. But Alexis's eyes couldn't stay open. Her eyes closed rapidly. Monsters always go after the wisdom goddesses children. That's just what they do. The monster. The monster felt a tightness as the Fred's claymore stabbed the inside of his sick mouth.

" naw good naw good." Fred yelled. Alexis was blacking-out.
that wasn't good.
she grasped the hilt of her claymore and puled it from the Manticore's mouth. she grabbed the blade in her left hand in a half sword style and stabbed the beasts flank.
claymores aren't as fast as katanas but they have one big advantage. weight they a are a crushing sword.
Fred stabled it a few more times then brung it down on the Manticore's back. a good warrior could decapitate 6 men with a claymore Fred barley cracked a bone.
"expletive deleted " Fred swore.

Alexis waist was bleeding a little and her skin turned pale. Alexis eyes were still closed as the monster turned into a gold dust and left.

Fred looked surprised she hadn't struck a killing blow.
but a victory was a victory.
"you ok?" she asked.

Alexis looked at her,still laying there,"Does it look like I am?"Alexis asked.

" ach nothing a plaster and a whisky cane cure." she joked before noticing the poisoned spikes in her arm.
" ah think wed better go ta the medic tent."

Alexis nodded as she started to get up slowly.

fred started to sing the clashes English civil war.
as she helped Alexis to her feet
"all right Alic lets go get a burger. better than a doctor any day."

Alexis sighed,"I want to go to the infirmary and gets some ambrosia and nectar,I'll see you later."Alexis said as she grabbed her dagger off the floor and walked out to the infirmary.

" aye but ahd prefer a big burger wae lots a relish an onions.
dont get me wrong ambrosia dose briliant custard and all." she joked. bur Fred knew lots about needing medical help.
" but if yer gona be a girl aboot it. its aff tae the medic we go." she teased. lifting alexis up.
