Well, logic dictates that that would be a very bad idea if you were to try and hold that. And then of course is the fact of having the sword in functional condition.
Could you explain a bit more about your idea? Like how it would work in battle?

o want it to explode on impact with monsters of specific power the blast doesn't kill Fred. and the sword isn't destroyed. like a flaming sword doesn't burn the wielder or a ice sword doesn't freeze its.

think 4 pounds of c4. the sword emits a huge explosion. Fred is thrown backwards. no one is happy.

That sounds rather counter-productive in battle.
So this sword will just emit this huge fiery blast randomly which will harm any monster in the vicinity, and probably any other person who happens to be nearby?

Yah, but I'm going to have to say no to that idea.
Completely impractical in battle, not to mention the matter of 'friendly fire' which renders it not only impractical but also counterproductive in larger battles.

but im thinking of it not effecting allies. only foes kind of like Percy not getting wet.

If either of the other admin feel like changing my mind for me, I'll deal with it. I'm still saying no. (I'm still hoping for some form of logic in this world of demigods.)

thats not going to happen is it Laughing
the idea is on contact ( limited to once a day) Horror emits an explosion. only the enemy and Fred are hurt buy the explosion.
