what do you think about gods?

anyone think we got shafted religion wise?
i mean Christianity is a bit boring is ant it?
i mean think about all the cool gods like Thor and Apollo.
look at all the cool religions. Norse Egyptian Greek Celtic.
all cool. i just think we got a bum deal.

Personally, I'm glad I don't have to deal with remembering which god does what, or even having a god in everything. Then we can get down to business and get some real science done.
I mean they're a good story most of the time... but that's all.

That's my logic/practical opinion.

Religious opinion: I think Christianity's interesting, exciting, and more personal/practical. Then of course, it works. That can't be said about the 'cool' religions referenced.

Well, I wasn't offended. You asked me what I thought, so I said my opinion.
I think they're fun stories, but not fun religions.

not even the human sacrifice? its a good way to get rid of that annoying pest in the classroom. namely the teacher.
just thinking would the Roman gods be allowed at some point?

If you ask me I think the mythologys had a better way of explaining suffering in world.

With most religions they say; 'Its all according to gods plan' and 'Who are we to question the lord?'

But with greek mythology they pretty much say 'Zeus got really drnk one day and thats why our house burned down.' I could believe that rather than, 'Tis gods will'

I do think mythology is more interesting in comparison, but personally there will only be one god for me;

i will try to help to if i can bur remember most Greek myths ain't chronological. Heracles heads to troy 3 times
the first i think the princess is old the 2nd with the Argonauts she is a kid and the 3rd in the Trojan war she is in her teens.

I am Catholic and find these beliefs awesome and true and even on Rick's books they say the mythology he is writing about in the book is fake. JESUS FTW!
