Post Length

Is there a way that most of the people on here could lengthen their post lengths and not post something like she walked up there and said, "hi." Could we be more in detail? This in my opinion makes a better read and funner rping.

Hmm.. Well we can'T exactly scour our brains for a ten-line post every time we want to post... It take time and some of us are just too busy for it. We try our best in the posts, you know.

I normally say that four sentences is a good amount for postings.

How about 9 it's a little more better for all the rpers and would show and give more emotion.

I normally say at least 4 and make it replyable. Sometimes, you don't really have much to say to something or you're battling and you can't do much in between.

I agree. Four is a good amount, so i would have said it also.

When you get in dialouge with someone, you can't always post a paragraph, unless your character's really ADHD or something. We do look for fairly lengthy posts as one of the qulifications for things like seconds, but I, personally, don't usually have the time to read full-page posts.

Let's just that three to eight is a good amount, to allow people to be in-depth, and still be able to Read it.

I figured the post length being discussed was a minimum. There's no real need for a maximum. If for some reason you need to post a novel (and had the attention span too) go right ahead. Most people won't go nuts on a post length by default, since frankly- it's hard. The only way you can really make post novels if you give an entire history of your character, the place that you are at, and every single relationship your character has had. Then that's just annoying. And takes a lot of thought. Then that's okay to do at the very beginning of the topic, but only in an attempt to make things better to reply to at the beginning.

Most people tend to ignore the Extremely Long posts...

Umm.. I do. It's hard to read them all, and it's a bit boring. I'm sometimes a bit hyperactive in real life, too, so...

Well, I'm sure that most of you are intelligent enough to work on replyable posts that aren't a ridiculous length.
