Just...walkin' and talkin'

Andrew scratched his back thinking of saying something but he decided just to agree. So he said "Ok I guess you're right. I haven't really seen a real saber tooth so you win." He then put his hands on his pockets.

Estelle grinned. ''Course. I haven't seen a sabertooth in real life myself, but I saw some awesome videos on my notebook' she said. 'But I really did see a jaguar once, running away. It was hunting for prey..and it was ...' she faltered, fumbling for a word that would describe the moment.

Andrew started to picture what was happening but he couldn't really get it. So he then said "Keep going I almost imagined it." He then thought of a question to ask before she continued so he asked "Where was this at exactlY?"

'I'm not sure where it was. It was in this big forest. In a small clearing, a deer was swooping down for water from this small stream. I didn't notice the jaguar before it pounced. That's how good its camouflage was.' Estelle stopped to picture the moment. 'And it was really really fast. I mean, like that' she snapped her fingers.'The jaw pierced the animal's skull, and the deer died instantly. I'm pretty sure the jaguar sensed me, but it didn't do anything, thankfully. Or else I might not have been here to relive the experience.' she was quiet for a moment, thinking of the magnificent agility of the animal. No hesitation. That's what she learned.

Andrew nodded listening what she was saying until she was finished he said "Well I'm glad it didn't kill you to." He actually started to get a lot more interested into the story but like most they fi down hill from the middle. He took his gloves off since his hands started to get sweaty from the heat. He than looked at her "So if you could choose any other god to be your parent which would it be?" he said not knowing what else to do.

Estelle was jolted out of her thoughts. 'Hmm..' she thought. 'I guess I'd still like to have Athena, but Poseidon is ok too, with his water powers...' she trailed off.

Andrew nodded "Well I'd pick Apollo since they've got a lot of powers and plus I suck at archery." he said with a smile on his face. He then just kept walking in silence not knowing what to ask next.

Estelle smiled. 'I just stick to swords and knives. And snares and stuff. No archery for me- I like close combat.' There was merriment in her eyes.

Andrew wondered aloud and said "What no hand to hand combat?"

'Okay, I admit that I do like all kinds of fighting, but favors swords.' Estelle said, a trace of a smile on her lips.

Andrew shrugged his shoulders "Well if you want to learn about it I have a black belt in 2 different forms and I know the basics if most." He said and he took his hands out of his pockets and stuck them behing his head. "I guess I really didn't have a normal life." he whispered that last part mostly to himself. He then cleared the thought out of his head and smiled "So could you teach me any forms for a double-sided spear or duel weapons?" Andrew really hoped that she could especially since he had his weapon already made and didnt know the first thing about either of the two. He then put his hands down and looked at Estelle waiting for an answer.

'You mean.. swordsplay? I can teach you to throw spears accurately and stuff, but duel weapons differ on the kind.' Estelle replied, raising her eyebrows a little.

Andrew shrugged his shoulders "Well I know how to use a sword and how to throw a spear but I don't know how to use duel weapons and a double-sided weapons." he said. He then remembered a important part he left out "Ok I had Jake forge me a weapon with two sides having points on them. But I also wanted a duel weapon so I just combined them. When they aren't double-sided they're two different swords. One containing mortal iron and the other celestial bronze. So I'd like to learn some techniques to use it." he said. He then noticed he was getting kind of tired of walking and definetely bored "So do you want to see my weapons?" he stopped and whispered "I've got a lot more than just the one I'm talking about in a secret place. Want to see it?" He also wondered if Estelle already knew about the place under the cabin.

Andrew then stopped the way they were walking. He started to head for his cabin not waiting for an answer. He looked back behind his shoulder and said to Estelle "Come on let's go it'll be fun." At least he hoped it'd be fun. Maybe he could get her to buy some of the things he didn't need or most likely he'd give it to her.

Estelle jogged along, making an apologetic face to a small bird that wanted her attention. 'I'm so in.' she called. She had a feeling this was going to be a lot of fun.

So she hasnt seen it he thought. "I thought you knew almost everything. Whats up with that?" he said sarcastically. Looks like they didn't walk that far becuase he could see the end of the forest. "Just for the heads up some of this stuff is magic items, so I wouldn't touch anything unless I say so." Andrew then rethought it "Or if you know what it is and does then you can touch it."

'No one knows everything. Not even the gods.' Estelle said solemnly. She fell in step with him.
