Brief History: Christine Listler was at the head choices for life or death.  Janus was being cruel to her. He would come and ask what she had chosen. Until one night when he felt sorry for her and comforted her.

Christine and Janus became closer, which sort of eliminated the choice stress, when one day Janus disappeared. A little girl was the only thing left on her doorstep. The girl's eyes were glassy, nearly white. Blind.

"You gave me a cursed child." Christine said. She despised the gods, and taught Mariah to hate them too.

Mariah had a simple childhood. She learnt, she ate, and stayed with her mother. Nothing seemed like it was about to change. But she was wrong. When one day at age 12, a strange lady that seemed to be hissing came at her mother. Her mother screamed and ran, but Mariah stayed there. She ran, too, and heard someone. His voice seemed little older than her, perhaps the same age. She followed him, hoping it would lead to a safety where they could take her in.

Mariah came to some kind of camp; the members found her and accepted her.

It was a titan army, for kids like her; demigods, children of the gods, that don't side with their parents. Mariah was quiet, and she didn't really bother to make any friends.

Physical Appearance: Her eyes are a milky brown color and she never focuses on anything. She has short reddish brown hair that gives a pop of color to her dreary appearance. She wears knee-long jeans and a gray t-shirt. She also wears silvery-gray running shoes.

Personality: Mariah is doesn't talk a lot, but when she speaks, she avoids saying anything personal. She takes time to answer questions and doesn't talk quickly. She doesn't like having a one-on-one fight and prefers to fight in the back or backup. She isn't really the social type. Mariah, inside, tries to forget the bitterness of her parents. Her mother ran away when she should have helped. Janus made her blind. She's hotheaded, but nothing really makes her angry. Only something worse than her parents would make her angry.

Fatal Flaw: Mariah sometimes has trouble choosing which sides. As far as she knew, the gods were evil, but then again, she hadn't seen their side. Mariah's fatal flaw is unreliability, in a way that she's neutral. She might switch sides at any second, which makes her unreliable. This could put her in danger; she doesn't have any real allies to stay on her back.

Talents: Not much magical talents. But hey, she can use a staff.

Weapons: Mátia, which means eyes. It is slightly ironic, but it's meaning is sort of a "substitute for eyes". The staff is silvery bronze and has a rough leather hilt for grip.

Other: Mariah is blind. She also has a necklace with a charm, a gift that someone had given her, so she can sense godly and monster auras.
