Showing Jathan Around.

"Here are the Bia bunks," Zach told the new kid, Jathan. He was inside the Bia cabins. "I've never actually been in here before, so yeah. I'm learning this stuff too." He looked at the beds, they were encased in some see-through substance. Beside each bed was a hand shaped indent in the stone wall. "I guess if you press here.... Nope," Zach said as he put his hand in the hand-print and pressed, provoking no reaction from the see-through substance.

"Maybe if you push a little harder." Jathan suggested. He put his hand in the indentation and pushed. A panel of the see-through stuff slid off. Climbing in, Jathan sat back on his new bed. The panel slid back, leaving Zach on the outside. "Can you hear me?!" He shouted. Seeing his nod of assent, Jathan examined his bed. On the inside of the sliding panel was another hand-print. He pressed it and the panel slid up again. "What if you got in here and I got out? Would the panel close and lock you in?" Jathan asked. "Cause I don't think that non-Bia kids can open these."

"They're like holding cells. Interesting interior design idea." Zach remarked. "Do you want to look around somewhere else? I think I saw a door leading to the basement."

"Sure," Jathan slid off the bed and walked from the bedroom. At the far end of a stone hallway was an iron door. Behind that was a spiral staircase, leading up and down. Heading down, Jathan emerged into an open room. It was filled with weightsets, punching bags, maces, warhammers, dummies to beat up, and tons of other stuff. Jathan hefted a big hammer. It had an engraved fist on each side. "That's cool." With that, he threw it at the nearest punching bag. The heavy hammer-head punched through the fabric. For a few seconds it swung there with a handle protruding from a whole in the bag. Then the chain broke and the punching bag fell and spilled sand everywhere. "Oops."

"The cleaning harpies will take care of it. Let's go see what's at the top of the staircase." Zach said, ushering Jathan from the room to prevent more destruction.

Lucas heard the sounds of destruction from a nearby cabin. Darting forward, he noticed that the door was open. "That's as good of an invitation as any," he said to himself as he slipped inside to investigate. Having no idea where he was, Lucas opened the first door that he came to. It led to a bedroom. The beds were surrounded by some weird glassy stuff. Noticing that one had a panel open, Lucas hopped inside. The panel shut behind him. Lucas immediately began to worry. Than he calmed himself. He'd been in worse binds before; and besides, who would have a bed that locks themselves in? Noticing a hand-print on the panel Lucas said, "Ah, here we are." He put his hand in it. Nothing happened. "Crud." After mumbling a few words the his sister Lucia would have slapped him for, Lucas decided to shout for help.

"Umm, hey anyone! I, uh, accidentally got stuck in.... your... bed...." Lucas trailed off. "Uh, anyways, Help!"

Jathan heard shouting coming from the middle floor. Racing up the stairs, Jathan followed the shouting until he got to his bed. Trapped inside was a young teen with blonde hair.
"Well, we know it works like a holding cell," Jathan said to Zach. Pressing his hand to the hand print, Jathan released the boy.

"Hey, Lucas right? I think we may have met a while ago. Welcome to Jathan's bed." Zach gave Lucas a look. "I hope you didn't take anything. Just kidding, I don't think Jathan has anything to be taken, but what's on him. Would you like to continue our tour with us? We were just about to look at the upstairs." Zach said, heading towards the spiral staircase.
