Lexi sneaked into the forge, hoping no one would notice her getting up in the middle of the night. Thank goodness Jake as at school, there would have been no way she could have crept silently past him in the Cabin.
She stoked the fire, and continued her work on Project Gearhead, bashing celestial bronze, gold and silver, melting it and pouring the metals into casts, leaving the casts to cool in the giant freezer thing she had down in her forge.
