Setting off! [Event] [Everyone]

"Here we go, another daring quest into the unknown to stop all that we know and love from being completely obliterated." Jake said, rolling his eyes as he leaned against Kris's car.
Everyone had gathered, whether it be to set off on their own quest or to simply say good bye to the ones that were leaving. The stuff was all packed, now just for the sentimental stuff.
Ty and Agamemnon sat anxiously behind it, taking up a lot of room all around. Ty whimpered. Agamemnon rumbled.


[Alrighty guys, this is the EVENT TOPIC!!This is the begining topic of the event, so you all need to post here before setting off. As a reminder, we have three camper subplots!

So, no matter what subplot you're a part of, this is still your topic! It may get a bit messy with the posting order and keeping track of conversations, but who cares? This is a crowded goodbye!]

Lily was standing quietly. Her weapons were all ready, sharp and prepared. Aqua in her hand.the knives In a belt. Her star Was also there. She scanned the campers at the place. In a few days, some would be gone....on their way to Lord Hades.
It could be you
She thought miserably.
Megan, her archenemy was probably just waiting to kill her off.
“Not today,”Lily whispered.

Kris was fiddling with her rings and leaning against Aggie while Ty nuzzled her for attention. She pet the hellhound and then saw her sister looking a bit distraught. With a sigh, Kris walked over to Lily and wrapped her arms lovingly around her younger sis. "Everything will be fine," she whispered in her ear. "Just stay strong and don't overuse your abilities. I don't want to be the only one in that cabin again." She place a kiss on Lily's forehead and hugged her tightly.

Lily smiled at her half-sister tenderly and replied“Of course it. Will. I'm going to kick their butts. For my friends,”her eyes turned from a milky blue to sharp crystaline blue.“I won't sway this time. Ever,”

Estelle sat a bit apart from the two half-sisters. She surfed the Internet on her Mac, looking at a book for research time to time. Satisfied, she put them away in her bag, and took out Silverstag. She examined the blade carefully, and sheathed it once more. She opened another book and started reading furiously, tossing back her raven-black hair to keep it from covering the pages. 'Martial arts..' she muttered. She looked at the position of the jade ring attached in her hair affectionately, and went back to reading.

Andrew walked up to Estelle Was that martial arts that I just heard ya' say? He noticed a lot of other people already here. Just great I'm late again! He looked at the book Estelle was looking at and noticed a series of moves on it. Cool book but it's better to learn from a teacher. Their he went with his sarcasm. Now he just had to sit and wait to see if he died but hopefully luck was with him or should I say hopefully Tych is with him.

Lily softly broke apart from Kris.“Andrew, are you ready?You're with me today,” she tried to be casual as she walked over to the boy. “Don't worry, we'll most probably survive. May the odds be ever in your favor,” she smiled woefuly with her sliver bow in her hand.

Wes had to have gone through her checklist a thousand times. Bow and fully-stocked quiver in wristband form - check. Duffle bag with extra clothes - check. Backpack with Dew and other necessities - check. She reached into her pockets; she had her keys, her wallet, and her iPod. She patted her back pockets and felt a crinkle in the right one. She started to pull it out until she realized what she'd left in that pocket. She stuffed the pamphlet back in and pulled her shirt down so that no one would see it.
She shouldered her bag and turned to some kids in her cabin, "Okay guys, I don't care what kind of hell comes to this camp, if I find so much as a scratch on any of my instruments when I return, the whole cabin is in for a hell of an archery lesson." She hoped that would strike fear in them; her easy sessions were already brutal enough.

Kris slowly let go of her sister and walked over to Wes. "I need to talk to really quick." With that said, she grabbed her friends arm and dragged her away from the crowd. "I am feeling nervous about this quest. Something is just bothering me. Like that line in the prophecy, 'and for the shield their teams must race'. We are gonna hit some competition and it worries me."

Wes raised an eyebrow at Kris, "Really, *that's* the part that worries you. Rage of beast, war, darkness, and plague. A love deceased - *zombie love* - and you're worried about a little competition?" Typical Kris. Wes sighed, "We've faced - we've conquered - much worse than any team the Fates could throw at us. We'll be fine."

"What, you guys having some sort of secret girl's meeting without me?" Jake said with a grin, having walked up and leaned in on their conversation. He actually didn't hear most of the conversation.
"Is this a conversation that I should be concerned about or is it some girl thing like, 'Oh, Mark's so hot, Mark's so cute, Oh, I wish he were here right now, I love him soooo much'." He said in his best typical girly impression voice.

(I was only going to post the first line... but I couldn't help it once the line popped into my head.)

“Oh yeah,”Lily remembered grimly.“Megan,”she faced Andrew and added“Careful one of the titan army members Really Hates me and she'll stop at nothing to harm campers. She also has a snake,” she winced as she recalled the painful memory. “ the snake is A gift from her dad. It's really poisonous. I got bitten by it once and it was really painful,”

Kris started tearing up at the sound of Mark's name. She looked at Jake with pure anger for making her remember. And it only made it worse when her mind remembered how much she missed her Mark. Her Mark? He wasn't hers though but she had wished he was. And now the bittersweet memories wracked her brain and it made her cry.

Seeing Kris's sorrow, Wes gave Jake the 'way to go' glare. She put her hand on Kris's shoulder as she grieved. She understood that Jake didn't know her uncle, Mark, so maybe his ignorance partially excused his insensitivity, but that wasn't going to change the fact that they'd soon be riding in a car with a driver reduced to hysteria.

The thought of 'most' of them surviving kind of disturbed Andrew. Sure he knew war had casualties but there's a difference in real life and reading about it in books. Over the past few weeks, which has felt like a life time, has left him becoming more and more attached with every one of these campers. He sighed and nod.

At the name of Megan he started to listen more and when Lily said snake he started to think about gods or goddeses with snakes. He narrowed it down to Hermes and Asclepius. So is she the daughter of Hermes? He couldn't really think about any other gods/goddesses. The thought of her killing or at least trying to kill Lily made him want to protect her. Don't worry I've got you're back. He looked at Lily and smiled.

“Uh, no. She's the daughter of Zelos.” Lily smiled back at Andrew warmly. “But I'm even more afraid of the others. She's probably trained it to attack every single camper fighting. Best not let your ankles show.”

"Aw, come on. You guys bring him up all the time, and the one time I bring it up it's bad?" Jake complained. He didn't mean to upset Kris... but the double standard was still annoying.
Agamemnon rumbled and bent down and brought its head close, troubled that Kris was upset.

Kris heaved a sob and wiped her eyes. She had to be strong. She was going to be driving for days and she couldn't drive in this emotional mess. "I am fine." She said looking at Wes and then at Aggie. She turned her head to Jake and sighed. "It's always bad any time we talk about him. It's just this time is especially bad because we are going on a quest and well that's how we lost him." Kris dried her eyes again and smiled softly. "Just don't worry about it." She said it in reference to Jake making her cry but she more said it to herself to not let her emotions get in the way of the quest.

Andrew was confused at what the girl trained but quickly remembered the snake. So is it some kind of hybrid between dragon and snake? That'd be pretty cool. He already visioned what it looked like...well what it could do more. Probably scales, red scales and a snakes body and why not fire breathing? So now he had to where something to protect his ankles instead of his normal attire.

'Oh.. yeah' Estelle replied absentmindedly ((Sorry for being late)) , turning pages in her book. She suddenly got up and hit her "hair ring" at the floor. Hmmm, she thought. Strong enough to crack a skull. She quickly did some calculations, and went back to her blank-face state, making it hard for people to read her body language. Tactics. They needed plans. She almost smiled at her own thoughts. When have I become like this? she wondered. I must be getting like mom.. she let her mind rest for a moment.

Ken stood in a corner. He did not really have any one to say good bye to since he was brand new to camp him self. He just stood there watching every one and making sure that every thing would be okay in the end. Even thought this place was brand new to him and he bearly knew any one he still did not want it to be ruined.

Andrew looked at Lily and took the gauze. Just to let you know I was just kidding. I had no idea that there were even snake/dragon hybrids. Have you seen any? He than put the gauze in his pocket.

continued sitting i corner. He turned he felt like some one was watching them, watching them ALL. He shook the thought out of his head. He had to stop being so paranoid.

Estelle was lost in her own mind, thinking of possible scenarios and ways to come out as the victor. She shuffled through some pages, sighing.
