Brief History:
Her father, Julian, worked in a flower shop He also used to give free candy to little kids who come now and then, and Maia (The goddess) was pleased by his generosity. She visited him once, being in disguise as a young lady about his age, who wanted to buy a few flowers for her brother's wedding. They then started talking together about different types of flowers, and they visited each day, talking to each other.
One day, Maia left to another place without telling Julian. He was heartbroken, for now he had started loving her. She came back 4 years later, handing him a baby, for his love. Julian then figured out that Maia was a goddess, and he loved her so much. So in her honor, he named his child "Maia".
She only went to school until fourth grade. Because she was getting bullied a lot, her father pulled her out and started to homeschool her. They stayed in warm and sunny areas. Monsters also attacked, but her father tried his best to hide them and tell her it was probably an illusion.
She started getting more smaller and frequent attacks, until her father couldn't hide the truth from her anymore. He brought her to Camp Half-Blood, telling her she would be safe, but the father didn't know that as long as she didn't know her identity her scent won't become stronger. He told her all about demigod life, and Maia started to more and more get it.
Maia, in her demigod life, would be pretty weak (not in the "fighting" weak sort of way) with her feelings. She was good at making friends, though, and she continues to build her confidence. She liked meeting new people and encountering new situations.
Physical Appearance: Maia has long curly brown hair that is usually tied as a ponytail in her back. She has rare green eyes which she is proud of. She has a pretty good face, considering there were a few monster attacks... Well... Maia has smooth hands and she has a pretty skinny body. She is a normal size for her age. She used to like to draw on her skin with permanent marker, too, when she was little, so there are a few colored marks here and there that are commonly mistaken for bruises.
Personality: Maia doesn't hold grudges as much, and she's really easy to talk to. Sometimes she whines over small things, and she cries easily, even when she doesn't want to cry. She is honest and doesn't tell secrets, because she wants to avoid any worry.
Fatal Flaw: Maia's Fatal Flaw is her Autophobia. She always tries and sticks to someone, so that she isn't ever lonely. It is hard to her when she has to make a decision herself, and no one is cheering for her or supporting her. She loses confidence when this happens.
Talents: She sometimes control plants around her (When they agree with her) , make them grow faster, or heal them. She can tell their emotions easily, too.
Weapons: Summer, a celestial bronze knife. It has a brass hilt and a long, smooth blade. She also keeps a magical blue dandelion that her mother gave her for her thirteenth birthday. It can heal anything or anyone.
Other: She has dyslexia, but no ADHD. She also has a pet snake, that's well tamed; named Oliver.

It looks good. You might need to elaborate on what "Sort of" means in your plant-controlling talents, but I'd say it's good.
