After The Attack

"YES I'M SERIOUS, AND IT SHOULD BE LONGER!" Once she calmed down enough, she went on, "Jake, you could've been paralyzed from the waist down, for life! Do you realize that? It could've hit your spinal chord, and paralyzed you, and you really want to go around doing stuff that'll make it worse?"

Jake was silent for a moment, considering an answer. Finally he simply said:
"I'll get in trouble if I answer that."

I took a drink of the potion to recover my, luckily, small amount of damage that I took earlier. Wincing at the taste, I get up and walk out muttering, "I should start carrying a bottle of nectar with me..."

"Well you're not gonna do anything," She responded, "In fact, I'm probably gonna strap you to a wheelchair and padlock those straps with like ten padlocks you have to undo in a certain order."

Kris laughed at Jake. "Haha you have it worse than I do!!!"

Jake opened his mouth to say a witty remark, but thought better of it. "Right...." He mumbled instead. He still didn't feel much like laying/ sitting down, and besides- most of the beds were ashes at the moment.

"Currently yes, but let's not forget who passed out on the battlefeild," Wes remarked.

"Psh.... that was nothing. It didn't cause too much damage to my system." Kris take another bite out of her sandwich.

Wes shrugged, "Unless you consider the fact that your head could've been chopped off while you were out of it."

"Eh, i trust you enough to know that you had it covered." Kris smiles

Wes shrugged, "Well, I wish I'd done a better job..."

"Hey, I am still alive aren't I, No need to beat yourself up about it." Kris finished off her sandwiches

Wes shook her head, "You would hardly feel that way without the morphine in your system." The whole while, she'd been taking her pulse - morerather, checking how strong it was pumping. It felt kind of weak, so she picked up a small bag of blood and hooked it up and pumped slowly twice before checking again.

"Yeah, but atleast i wouldn't be dead, Maybe passed out, but still alive." Kris laid back closing her eyes feeling a bit tired.

(Yeah you can, this is happening by Kris's bed, just post in the area with Jake, it'll just be going on at the same time.)

Erik yawned. All he could do now is sit and make sure Jake stayed put. He drank some nectar, even though it was 'reserved' for the injured people, and relaxed.

(You are injured, just not terribly like me and kris.)
Jake grumbled to himself about not being able to help with anything when there's so much to be done. He looked around, and upon not seeing an open bed (because normally we don't have too many mortally injured people) he plopped down onto a chair. He immediatly regretted it after pain shot up his body from sitting down so hard. That made him grumble more.

(lol, Jake is not a happy camper.)

Alex took her sword out and started cleaning dirt off it, bored that she had nothing to do.

Jake watched the new girl as she cleaned a sword. He examined the sword, not really knowing what to do now. He didn't feel like sleeping, no matter how good it'd do.
"Ah... nice blade." He told the new girl, trying to start up a conversation. It was a rather feeble attempt, but his head was as tired as the rest of his body.

cameron walking around bored heard jake say that "are you a Hephaestus kid

"Yah." Jake answered. His head was too tired to follow much of a conversation, and he was just thinking maybe he should try to sleep... but then again- he was on a chair. He probably wasn't going to be sleeping for a while.

Jake blinked a couple times. He looked up at the new kid. He was silent for a moment as he assured himself he heard correctly. Was this kid serious? They had just *seen* eachother for the first time.
"What?"
