After The Attack

Alex looks up. "Huh? Oh thanks." She looks back down at her sword, recalling the story of how she got it.

"Dude! I don't even know you!" Jake said, a bit taken back by the random request by this new kid.

i no it is a strange question but ive heard a Hephaestus kid named jake would be a good be a good techer and your a hepheastus kid named jake so can i be your forging apprentice

"From where?" Jake protested, still in a shocked stupor.

i dont know who they are all i know is that they were some campers

Alex did a facepalm sorta thing, she kinda felt sorry for this kid.

"No." Jake said, coming back to the question.

Erik was keeping from laughing. Award, embarrassing moments he loved. He acted like he was drinking nectar, but he he drank anymore his bones would turn to sand or something like that.

why not

"Because," Alex said sharply. "He barely knows you. This is, in fact, the first time he saw you."

well i want to learn how to forge

"The best way to learn something is to try it." He winked at Jake. He was saying that to get the new kid to go away, but it was true. He learned how to control his ability like that.

well if someone teaches me i can do it hands on while being instructed

"Kid, quit asking. He is not gonna teach you, so just leave it at that." Kris had gotten tired of his voice and wanted to leave the room. She carefully sat up and stood up, the morphine keeping her pain away.

well if hes not gonna teach me he should at least give me a reasonable reason

Alex scowls. "He barely knows you. There: good reason."

"Well, another reason is he has a few broken ribs and a broken arm. Why did you ask him here, so he couldn't get away? Just leave him be." He took a big breath in laid into his chair. He wanted some peace.

Once feeling the pulse pump strongly enough, Wes ejected the small, half-empty blood bag. "'Kay, I think that should be enough, but you're still gonna have to stay over night," she told Kris. The sun had already begun setting during their battle, and it was getting dark out. She grabbed special tape off the counter and taped the IV on her hand - the way they do in ERs incase they needed to ingect anything.

"But I don't want to stay here over night. I want to be out there with the rest of the campers, sleeping outside." Kris stands up, but twinges from the pain in her chest/stomach.

Wes looked at her with a death glare, "Lay back down. *Now*."

"WHy should I lay down. I am fine." Kris twisted at the waist. "See?"

Wes picked up off the counter a needle, quickly filled it with the stuff used to put people out, and held it like a murderer with a knife threatiningly at Kris, her nostrils flaring.

"Wes put the needle down. There is no need for that. Just let me go outside." Kris held up her hands in gesturing for Wes to calm down.

Erik got up and grabbed the needle. "Why not just move the bed outside?" He suggested.
