Shooting Practice (Kris)

Whitney took out an arrow from his sheath, and aimed. He was about two inches off target. Not good Enough. He aimed and fired. Bulls eye.

"And yes, I do rock." He said to himself with a chuckle.

Lily walked into the range shifting her silver bowand arrows. Ift had been a long time since she had practiced in those weapons. She smiled as she remebered ll the fun ties she had with these silver weapons.

Whitney turned around to see Lily.

"Hi Lily. How ar you?"

“Fine. A bit nostalgic, as usual.” lily answered. Despite their awkward meeting, the two were almost... Friends. She notched and arrow and shot. A clean,perfect shot as usul. SHe sighed in relief.

"impressive." he said, feeling genuinely impressed. he shot twice, and the first one hit bulls-eye, and the second bounced off of th arrow.

"Did I seriously just do that?"

'Yes, you did' Estelle strolled in, wearing a cheery smile. She did not have bows nor arrows with her,but she just came here to watch people practice.'Hey guys' She gestured to the targets.'Don't mind me. I just want to watch, that's all.'She was kind of awkward, just standing there.

"Hi," he said blandly.

Estelle just kind of sat there.

Lily shot another arrow. “I suppose you know her?” she asked. Estelle was just a kind of oddball. Not a lot of people knew her yet, and she appeared at random places at random times. Of course, she was like that too. She had to admit that. But not as much as Estelle. People knew her and liked her. Wel... Most people. She turned to face Estelle. “What's up?” she asked.

'Nothing, as you see' Estelle shrugged.'Why are you looking at me funny?' she asked

Just....'cause” She replied as she notched an arrow. She aimed and shot. Perfect. She notched another arrow as she thought about it.

"Nice shot." he said, kind of distracted.

Estelle watched Lily as she made a perfect shot.

“Thanks.”Lily kidna muttered as she went to pull out her arrows.

Whitney looked at Lily and realized: He was developing a crush on her. He took a breath, and shot another arrow. he thought about what powers he might have a child of Eros. maybe... Seduction? He shook himself back into reality mode and asked Estelle if she would like to try a shot or two.

As she came back with her arrows, Lily pulled up her mebtal notes for friends. Friends.... Dominic, Estelle, Fred,Kris,Jake...most of the campers. Enamies...not yet. Curshes... Crushes? Probably not. She looked at Whitney and met them before her turned. She thought about Whitney. Did she like him? sure he looked like Paul... But... There were other reasons why they were friends. She studied their relationship carefully.

Whitney noticed Lily looking at him, and thought to himself, 'maybe I have a chance with her'. he flashed her one of his famous smiles, and then went to retrieve the arrows.

Whitney saw her go into another one her flashbacks, and waited a few seconds until she snapped back into reality. She seemed to do that a lot.

Lily held on to his smile as she saw him. He looked brighter than usual. Did she...like him? She held onto tge thought carefully. As she snapped back into the real world. She shook her head and said “Sorry. Flashback” with a weak smile.

"Yeah. I could tell. your eyes kinda go off colored a little bit. What are all thoose flashbacks of?"

“From... My memory. The day... That i....came here” she choaked out slowly. It was a painful memeory. She had seen Death himself then. She tried to controll herself.

"You dont need to tell me if you don't want to" Whitney said, seeing how upset she was getting. Sometimes it's better to let thing be.

“I'll tell you, but someplace else. At the beach. Meet me there. Tonight.,” she said softly and left.

"I guess I'll meet you there?" he said awkwardly. "bye, Estelle."
