A Leave of Absence

Hey guys, I just wanted to say for at least the next three days or so. (Being until June 4th.) I won't be online at all.
I'm leaving on a mission trip that morning, and I'm going to be taking these next days to get prepped psychically and spiritually. So, if you're a Christian, if you would pray for me, my trip, and the people I'll impact. If you're not, please wish me luck on my trip and respect that I'm a strong Christian who believes in doing this sort of stuff.

So I'll be gone all summer, and my hours and internet may vary. I'll get on when I can (which should be semi-regularly) and I'll be on for the rest of today (the 31st) and while I'm at the airport the morning of the 4th.

Jake's actually staying in the US for this one - it's in Montana. Usually, missions are the church's way of helping communities by building homes, facilities, ect. while building relationships with the people there. The foreign mission trips often bring water filters, shoes/clothes, and such necessities to third world countries, along with building homes.

You all are postaholics. I just need to say that. I am so glad I checked in now and didn't wait a week or so...

But yah, I'm out in Montana right now. I'm up here helping out the small churches in the area with whatever they need. The churches up here do a lot of community events like block parties, camps, and of course vacation bible school (a sort of christian day camp for kids.)

What's the VBS theme over there this year? CAV's going Amazing Wonders Aviation. I've been working tech all week for elementry kids, so, basicly, I've gotten to listen to the same songs, like, ten times a day. Next week is supposed to be arts & crafts, though. Pre-school/Kindergarten, which should be fun.

That's nice. Though in my experience little kids can be annoying.

I think one of the ones I'll be doing is that one, but they can choose... or they could be like my church was and just bought the previous year's. We'll be doing VBS in Helena in two weeks... then at other churches for the two weeks after that. Honestly, I hope I won't be doing the same one... I like the songs and all, but I don't want to hear them three or four weeks straight.

Oh, I'm already singing them in my sleep. XD
