*she takes her seat at her desk just as the bell rings for her last class of the year to begin. she takes out her mechanical pencil and nervously begins to start clicking it, making the lead peice longer and longer. Her teacher hands her the test and announces them to begin. Alexa stares at the untouched exam paper on her desk. she beins to think about Jake and Kris and the monster that might be a threat.*

When Jake and Kris entered the gym, Jake quickly and carefully grabbed a good basketball from the storage room then exited closing the door and tossing Kris the ball.
"Take it to the center, let's do a little one-on-one." Jake carefully put his pocket watch away in his jeans.

"Alright." Kris catches the ball and dribbles it half-court. "We playing full court or half court?"

"Full court. That's more fun." Jake felt for the bronze knife in his pocket. After making sure the emergency knife was still there and sheathed he got in a ready position.

*Alexa finally turned in her test, walking back to her desk and quickly sitting down. she slowly put her head down and closed her eyes, waiting for the class to be over*

Jake grabbed the ball and ran to the other side of the court, and tried for a three-pointer. A bang wreaked his throw. It bounced off the backboard and hit him in the head.
"Ow."

"What was that..." Kris looked around then looked at Jake. "You okay?"

"It's just a ball." Jake put his hands in his pockets.
"That most likely means that we get some real fun in...three-"
The gym door opened, and the cyclops from earlier walked in.
"two-one."

Kris looked off at the cyclops. Then she glanced at Jake.

Jake just shrugged, not wanting a fight.
"Can I help you?" Jake asked. The cyclops completely ignored him.
"I have been trying to find you sea-child. I have a warning."

before you guys had entered the cafeteria i had lefft you guys to go off campus and headed to Mcdonalds

"Of-" Suddenly the gym's window exploded. Jake clicked a button on his pocket watch and it became a large round shield and shielded them from the falling glass, the pieces that hit the shield melting into small glass balls. "Of things like that."
Jake drew his knife with his free hand.
"Well, there's our fight- though not what I was expecting..."

Kris spun a ring on her right middle finger and it transformed into her sword. "And this is going to be fun." She held the sword down by her side.

Harpies flew in and attacked, Jake slashed the lead one and hit another one back-handed with his shield.
"You know, I was kinda looking forward to a normal game of ball..."

"Yeah but i bet you were looking forward to a fight all year." kris moves from behind Jake's sheild and slashed at one of the harpies.

"Yah..." Jake stabbed the nearest harpy and hit his knife to his shield. As a spark flew Jake increased it to a full flame and burned another harpy to dust. (hephestus *is* the god of fire....)
"So you want the last one." Jake said, blocking an attack.

"Duh. I can't let you have all the fun." Kris smirked and slashed at the last harpie, it inturn grabbed onto the blade and Kris sung the sword and the harpie went flying into a wall. It jumped at her and she took one uppercut with the blade and the harpie burst into dust. "Well that was fun."

"And it ruined our streak." The fire alarm went off and showered them with water. Jake growled in annoyance.
"Great. The cyclops disappeared and now we're going to get expelled on the last day of school..."

"This is why i suggested we just go off campus. But whatever. Looks like we won't be returning here next year. I also suggest we run... now before we get in too much trouble." Kris slipped a loop on the butt of the hilt onto her finger and the sword turned back into a ring.

"Alright" Kris ran toward one of the back doors to the gym leading outside. She opened it and made a break for the bunch of students heading towards the football field. She motioned to Jake to stay close

"Maybe I should really torch part of the gym, so then it's not like we just pulled the alarm..."
